Over the years I have been more and more using photography as a means of expression. It started as a way keep documentation of my studies as an archaeologist, and soon became something closer to a general view of the world. I am interested in places, be them natural or manufactured, and the way people interact with them. After long years of black and white photography, I am now deeply into color photography.

As a photographer I worked mostly on the relation between people and visual arts. I participated to various shows in Italy in galleries and museums. I always encourage clients and friends to bring a camera or use their smart phones to document our experiences. More structured photo tours and workshops are available on request and can be customized depending on needs, goals and equipment.
My last book is Aura. Voyage to Italy (2017), a visual and narrative exploration of Italy.
